One of the major continuing goals of The Turkish Association of Translation Companies carries out activities is to increase the standards of translation companies in Turkey through relevant quality standard training.
This is of vital importance for CID as if members are able to increase quality, develop their project management capabilities via effective database policies and style and terminology processes, they will gain a competitive edge in international markets, in turn boosting our the overall value of our industry.
Accordingly, our activities focused on these quality criteria as follows.

- Implement practices to make it easier for the translation companies cooperate with each other
- Actively work on solutions which will contribute to the operation of Turkey's translation industry and which will resolve existing and potential problems,
- Provide support for translation companies with their efforts to reach an internationally acceptable standards for translation and documentation quality and to structure themselves so as to compete in these markets,
- Support activities and events involving the translation industry and relevant fields and improve the quality of the translation industry by contributing to the complete restructuring of the profession through professional and voluntary incentives,
- Establish a code of ethics for both translators and companies and ensure strict compliance while developing mechanisms and practices to settle any potential professional disputes.
- Foster the development of the profession of translation and translation management on the international level; encourage professional, cultural and social development of young translators and company managers through organizations such as exchange programs,
- Organize necessary training seminars, meetings and courses, including technical courses, for new industry professionals.
